Peiyu Yang joins Simulation Innovation and Modeling Center as a research engineer in 2017. His research interests are in the area of structural finite-element analysis, developing numerical material and joining models, and material testing at various strain rates. He has expertise in designing experiments to characterize metals, composites materials, joining techniques like adhesive and welds, and build material models for finite element analysis. His research applies to the automotive industry, white goods industry, and biomechanical industry.
