White, Susan

Biography

Dr. Susan White is from Richmond, Indiana, and attended Purdue University for her bachelor’s degree. She then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working in the Laboratory for Accelerator Beam Applications, while obtaining her master’s degree and Ph.D in nuclear engineering. After a few years off of work to stay home with her children, Susan joined the OSU-NRL staff as a Research Assistant. In addition to holding a senior reactor operator license, Susan works with experimenters and industry customers to design safe and cost-effective experiments that meet their research needs, and develops budgets for these experiments. In 2018, she was promoted to a Senior Researcher. Susan has multiple publications and a great deal of research experience that she is able to bring to the table.
