Webb, Nathan

Biography

Dr. Nathan Webb is a Research Scientist working at The Ohio State University’s Aerospace Research Center. He graduated in 2013 from The Ohio State University with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a dissertation entitled “Control of a Shock Wave-Boundary Layer Interaction Using Localized Arc Filament Plasma Actuators”. During over 15 years of sustained research activities, the projects he has worked on have been supported by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Army Research Office, the Office of Naval Research, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Dr. Webb has disseminated his research in 32 papers (10 journal publications) and numerous conference presentations. He has co-mentored 14 students during his professional career. Dr. Webb is a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
