Biography

I am Research Associate Professor with Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department and Center for Automotive Research, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. I received B.S. degree in Mechatronics and Control Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2006, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Control Systems from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. My research includes control and diagnostics of automotive systems with focus on their efficiency, safety, and security. I have authored more than 95 international peer-reviewed publications and received the OSU’s Lumley Research Award in 2018 and SAE’s Buckendale Award in 2019.
